Richard Felser Company, one of Pittsburgh’s premier home improvement firms, has been installing custom-made vinyl replacement windows since 1964. With over 50 years in the business and “Best in the Valley” awards, the company also offers roofing, siding, soffit and fascia, decks and railing, and patio rooms.
The company began with little capital and Richard Felser as the sole employee. Felser attributed the company’s growth over the years to his attention to customer service.
Many of our installers have been with the operation for more than 20 years. Marty Yurchison, Dave Gilbertson, and Brad Carter are a few of our professionals working to complete your project. The company prides itself on employing specialists to do certain jobs. Earl Desgain is a highly skilled carpenter, who works on bow and bay windows. Hello Home Remodelers! My name is Brian Katana, my friends call me Mr. Pepsi. I wanted to fill you all in on why Richard Felser & Fate brought us back together for this 5 Star Review! Grab ur Pepsi’s, this story is WORTH the read! Quickly Folks let’s go back in time…19 years ago to be precise. I lived in Ohioville with two awesome parents, Ed & Lucille Katana…the house i grew up in needed siding, the White Aluminum Siding was fading. My Mom came across the Richard Felser Home Remodeling Contest they have every year, so she was on a mission…before internet, my Mom would clip out Richard Felser entry forms in any newspapers & flyers, fill them out, and took them to the Richard Felser office THEN located at the Beaver Valley Mall & put the entry forms in their fish bowl. Wouldn’t you know it my Mom won, and as one of the choices, whole house siding…so thanks to my Mom & Richard Felser, the entire old homestead got new white vinyl siding. Now…lets move ahead 19 years later (currently right now). After both my parents passed away, my home didnt feel like home anymore…i felt i was living in a mosoleum. So I sold the family home & short version, bought a 5 bedroom, 2.5 Brick Home in Center Twp on December 1st 2023. August 2024 i was browsing the internet, I wanted to get prices on new Windows & possibly a new Front Door & Storm Door. So I began looking what Remodlers were out there. Wouldn’t you know it, Richard Felser was still in business & had the same contest. Thinking of my parents & the funny memory, i said ah hell, so i put my name in the contest AND I requested literature on their products. December 24th 2024 I get a unknown text to call Scott WHO knew me by name…”who in the hell is Scott?” I said! Lmao!!! I dont know a Scott. So I called the unknown number…this guy answered all happy & introduced himself as the owner of Richard Felser Company. I told Scott im sorry, I dont want to mislead, i did request information bout your windows & doors, but im not looking to buy right now. Scott laughed & said no, that I won their contest…I busted out crying so hardcore literally…my Parents helped from above gave me a great Christmas Gift! Again 19 years later now I won the same contest!!! I had Scott come up to my new home in January 2025 & I shared that story with him, Richard Felser DID keep records from 19 years ago & found my Parents contract. So I took the 10 free window option in the contest…BUT…I told Scott I needed 4 more windows AND lets talk bout a Front Door & Storm Door. Scott gave me a GREAT price on 4 more Windows, a Solid Heavy Oak Door & a very nice Aluminum Storm Door…I was VERY satisfied. In April, Scott sent Brad, Bill & Mike up to my home & they installed my Front Door & Storm Door…today (8/21/25), the same fellas came back & installed my 14 windows. I attached a pic on the current project, the boys are coming back tomorrow to finish up. In conclusion as you see, it was good fate from my Parents & im really happy with the work done on my home from Felser’s!
